Our Leadership

Sydney Parriott, MA, CCC-SLP, MBA

Founder & Speech-Language Pathologist

Sydney Parriott built Speak Like a Professional with a simple but urgent mission: to help people connect. In a world increasingly shaped by technology—and increasingly strained by misunderstanding—she saw the need for something different. Not louder voices. Not corporate or enigmatic scripts. Just real, confident communication rooted in genuine relationships.

Backed by a lifelong fascination with how people think, relate, and respond, Sydney approaches communication as both an art and a science. A path as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) shouldn’t come as a surprise, as she frequently relishes in the tidbit that her initials are also “SLP.” Her coaching isn’t about having the "it" factor—it’s about learning how to say what you actually mean, in a way that builds trust, incorporates humor, diffuses tension, and leaves you feeling like you—just with better timing and a little more clarity.

Sydney’s vision is deeply human. She believes everyone deserves a voice they feel proud of. Her holistic, evidence-based method blends psychology, culture, mindset, delivery, and language—because communication isn’t one-size-fits-all. It's a skill. One you can absolutely build with practice and feedback.
